Cupcakes, celebration cakes, novelty cakes, wedding cakes, Christmas cakes, a cake for every occasion. Allergies and vegan are also catered for.
All my ingredients are freshly supplied by Penshurst fine foods in Crowborough and I only use free range eggs.
Its never too early to organise your cake and I love working with my clients to create their perfect cake!
Prices
It’s impossible to offer a price list, since each cake is bespoke. I take into account the number of people it will serve, the design elements and sometimes a smaller cake may take longer to create.
When you contact me, I need to know how many people the cake needs to feed and when the event will be held.
Pricing for wedding cakes start from £375 for a three tiered semi naked wedding cake. Celebration cakes start from £85 and cupcakes from just £2.25.
Flavours
Oh my goodness too many to list but they include:
Oreo & Cookie dough, lightly salted caramel, strawberries & cream, butterscotch, cherry bakewell, banana, creamy vanilla, fudgy chocolate, lemon & elderflower, raspberry ripple, raspberry & white chocolate, red velvet with vanilla buttercream (I can’t use cream cheese), carrot cake with vanilla buttercream, Biscoff, Baileys, strawberry daquiri, mojito, gin & tonic, passionfruit martini…..
…….and many more so please ask for the list!
I can pretty much make any flavour you like.
My cupcakes can also be filled with lemon curd, raspberry, strawberry or cherry jam, Nutella, Biscoff!

After decorating my own Wedding Cake I was totally inspired and wanted to create beautiful cakes for everyone else! Over the years I have created lots of cakes for so many lovely people. I consider it an honour to be part of your special day, whether it’s a wedding, first birthday, anniversary and everything in between!
I have a level two hygiene certificate and my kitchen has been given a food hygiene rating of 5.
I can also cater for all allergies and vegans. It is paramount you let me know if anyone is allergic and the severity of the allergy.
My Celebration and Wedding Cakes are all baked to order and are custom one off designs created to meet your specific needs. I love what I do and I know you will too.

Hawaii Five-0 Birthday Cake
I can't say enough good things or recommend Cathy at Sugar & Slice Cakes highly enough. As I live in the USA, Cathy worked with my sister in England to make our idea for my 'Hawaii Five-0' themed birthday cake come to life, complete with palm trees, tiki hut, edible sand, shells, flip flops, tons of beautiful flowers, and my personal favourite, the cute crab! 🦀
The hours of work are apparent and very much appreciated. The intricate detail in all the handmade and hand-painted decorations is absolutely incredible. EVERYTHING was edible! Despite the amount of work that went into it, the price for my cake was VERY reasonable.
Cathy totally surpassed ALL our expectations, was very friendly and easy to work with, and created a work of art that was amazing to look at as well as totally delicious! After much deliberation (so many choices!) we decided on a lemon sponge cake with raspberry ripple flavoured buttercream, which was a huge hit with all the party guests and extremely delicious! The tiki hut made it back to Colorado in one piece, but that's all that's left!
Thank you so much, Cathy, for all your hard work and talent to create this cake and help to make my 50th birthday celebration even more memorable! I'm recommending you to everyone I know! 😍

Dairy Free 70th Birthday Cake
I had the best experience working with Sugar & Slice Cakes!!! I live in LA and was looking for someone to make a custom dairy free cake for my Dad’s 70th Birthday near where they live. So I reached out to her after a google search and even with a tight deadline and an elaborate vision she was able to make all my dreams come true! She was so professional, friendly, caring and easy to work with. She totally got what I was looking for right away and made some wonderful suggestions too! I am so pleased with the end result and SO excited for my Dad to see it for his birthday tomorrow!
